Sustainability

Sustainability can be defined as the requirement to actively involve (local or regional) economic, environmental and social aspects within a project. This means that (future) projects who wish to fulfil the sustainability requirements, will be screened on the way they involve local partners, take into account local environmental, cultural and employment issues, etc. This can apply to projects on all previous subjects, as well as new project ideas on for example (alternative) energy-resources.

The EU and many other organisations regard sustainabilty as a prerequisite for funding a project, and/or use the "sustainability performance" of a project as a criteria to  rate it in comparison to other projects.

Being familiar with the EU and national policies regarding sustainability issues, we can assist you in screening a project on its sustainable performance, and in developing new projects on "typical" sustainable subjects such as alternative energy, public transport, promoting the use of local (organic) products and health tourism.
